Making Cards with Kid’s Art

Good morning everyone!  Happy Sunday!  I hope you all have been able to partake in some fun iNSD activities this weekend…it’s definitely my favorite holiday!  🙂

I wanted to pop in and share a fun, little card idea that I had.  I’m a relatively new mom to an 8-month old little girl.  She has recently started creating art and of course, I adore it.  And I certainly can’t throw it away…but I can’t really keep it all either.  I know her grandparents also love her art, but probably don’t want giant crumpled papers that contain just a bit of scribbling in one corner.  It’s not 8-month old art if the paper hasn’t been in the mouth!

So I decided to take Piper’s art and cut it down to make a background for a card, which we will then send to her grandparents.  I used a patterned paper from the Robots 6×6 Paper Pad because coordinated perfectly with Piper’s masterpiece.

I then used the Mini Greetings Clear Stamps to stamp out a bunch of “hellos” in coordinating colors and topped it all off with a die cut Hello.

Now Piper’s grandparents have a slightly more attractive way to display her beautiful work…and it’s important that we all support the budding artist! 🙂
